BINGHAMTON AND BOWIE SPLIT WET DOUBLE DIP: The Baysox defeated the Rumble Ponies 9-3 on Tuesday in the resumption of Monday's suspended game, before Binghamton beat Bowie 7-3 in the seven-inning game that followed. The Rumble Ponies scored the first three runs in both games and have a four games to two edge over Bowie in the season series heading into Wednesday. The morning contest is the seventh and final regular season meeting between the Double-A Mets and Orioles.

On July 20 against the Thunder, Gonzalez lasted five innings despite giving 10 runs on 14 hits in the loss. He posted a 1-6 mark with a 2.82 ERA in 12 starts with St. Lucie (High-A) before his promotion.

BIG LEAGUE FEEDER: On Tuesday night, Jeff McNeil became the fifth Rumble Pony to make their Major League debut with the Mets this season. It matches a franchise record set in 2008. Gerson Bautista (4/17/18), Drew Smith (6/23/18), Tyler Bashlor (6/25/18), Drew Gagnon (7/10/18), & Jeff McNeil (7/24)

CUP OF TOFFEY: Will Toffey hit his first Double-A home run in his third Double-A at bat, a two-run blast in the first game of Tuesday's twin bill.

MICHAEL MARCHES ON: Levi Michael collected hits in both games Tuesday, extending his hitting steak to eight games. The Eastern League All-Star has a knock in 14 of the last 15 games and leads the Eastern League lead in hits (105). He's hitting .360 in July and .303 for the season (5th in EL).

FUN WHILE IT LASTED: RHP Corey Taylor and RHP Joshua Torres each had their scoreless innings streaks snapped in Tuesday's night cap. Taylor's lasted 13.2 innings and spanned 10 appearances, while Torres' stretched 18.1 frames and 13 Eastern League appearances.

STARTING EARLY: Binghamton has scored first in three straight games, but has been victorious in just one.

GLOVE LOVE: Ryan Mountcastle's error in Tuesday's nightcap was the first committed by a Rumble Ponies opponent in six games.

SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST: Wednesday serves as both a rubber match in the current series and the finale in the season series between Binghamton and Bowie. The Rumble Ponies have won four of the first six games.

UP NEXT: Binghamton heads to Altoona to kick off a four-game series on Thursday evening. The Rumble Ponies meet the Curve at People's Natural Gas Field for the first and only time during the 2018 campaign.
