FOUR MORE BEFORE THE BREAK: The Sea Dogs open up a four-game series tonight at Hadlock Field against the Binghamton Mets before heading into the All-Star Break. Justin Haley and John Gant will face-off for the second time in six days - the two met on Sunday in Binghamton in a game Portland won 6-1.
SINGLES PARTY: The Sea Dogs took the final game of their series in Reading with a 9-1 win... Portland had 12 hits in the game, all singles... Marco Hernandez and Carlos Asuaje each had three hits and an RBI... Sam Travis and Manuel Margot had two RBI apiece... William Cuevas picked up his eighth win of the year, allowing one earned run on two hits over five innings... The Sea Dogs finished 3-3 on their six game road trip to Binghamton (2-1) and Reading (1-2).
