Sanches Back In Lynx Bullpen

OTTAWA - The Philadelphia Phillies have optioned RHP Brian Sanches back to the Lynx roster in advance of the Lynx game in Pawtucket tonight.

Sanches, 28, went 1-1 with a 6.38 ERA in 11 games with the Phillies after his June 17th call-up. He was 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA and a team-leading 10 saves in 24 games with the Lynx this season. He was second on the team with 39 strikeouts and walked only four batters in 30 innings of work for the Lynx.

He made his Major League debut with the Phillies last season, earning no record and a 5.91 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 18 games. Sanches has a 38-42 record and 35 saves over his nine Minor League seasons.
