
Castro Joins Phillies

OTTAWA - LHP Fabio Castro is the second Lynx player to be called up by the Philadelphia Phillies since Major League rosters expanded September 1st.
Castro, 22, was 5-5 with a 4.01 ERA in 21 games with the Lynx, including six starts. He also has no record with a 6.63 ERA in six games in the Major Leagues, including one start against Los Angeles last week. Castro also played 11 games with Double-A Reading. He was 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA out of the R-Phils bullpen.
