Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
The San Francisco Giants have made the following transactions affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to Friday's game with Erie:
1B Brandon Belt received from San Jose (A+)...1B Michael Ambort transferred to San Jose (A+) [24 + 2 DL]
The corresponding moves keep the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Two players (1B Andy D'Alessio, 2B Nick Noonan) are currently on the Disabled List.
ADD: 1B Brandon Belt
DELETE: 1B Michael Ambort
