Orioles LHP Michael Gonzalez Joins Bowie

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. Baltimore Orioles LHP Mike Gonzalez joined the Baysox on a Major League rehab assignment. With the moves, the Baysox maintain a complete 24-man roster and have two Major League players on rehab assignments.

Gonzalez appeared in three games for the Orioles this year, going 0-2 with one save and an 18.00 ERA over 2.0 innings. He has been on the disabled list since April 10, with a left shoulder strain. Gonzalez will not start, but is scheduled to pitch in Friday night's game.

Baltimore Orioles OF Felix Pie is scheduled to play left field and bat leadoff for the Baysox, he has been with the Baysox on a Major League rehab assignment since Tuesday, June 29.
