Salmon Kings Receiving Yeo Back From AHL's Moose

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that defenseman Dylan Yeo has been returned by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League and will join the team tomorrow.

This was Yeo's second appearance in the AHL with the Moose this season. On this tour the Prince Albert, SK native played in six games earning a one assist and a +1 rating. Earlier this season he played in three games for Manitoba collecting an assist and two minutes in penalties.

Yeo has played in 53 games for the Salmon Kings this season, amassing 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 points. Yeo has also contributed with two game winning goals and has notched two shoot out game winning markers as well.

The 5-11, 198 lbs rearguard is in his first season professional season after playing in the WHL for the last four seasons. The 21-year-old is under contract to the Moose.

The Salmon Kings roster now sits at 22 players (12 forwards, 8 defensemen and two goalies).

Victoria and Alaska meet for the second game of a three-game set on Friday night. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The series and regular season concludes on Saturday for the third an final game puck drop is also at 7:05 p.m. Please call 220-7889 for ticket information.
