Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the broadcast for the team's final regular season game on Friday, April 4, 2008 against the Cincinnati Cyclones will be available on the internet only. The live broadcast, which will begin at 6:35 pm eastern time with the pre-game show brought to you by The Works, can be accessed through the broadcast tab on the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com. The broadcast will also be available at 99.3 fm inside the Sovereign Center by virtue of the Deibler Dental In-Arena Broadcast. Streaming video of Friday's game will also be available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.

The Royals' broadcast will be live and on the airwaves on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, for each and every playoff game this year, beginning on Friday, April 11 (broadcast time: 7:05 pm), with Game One of the North Division Semi-Final best-of-seven series against the Elmira Jackals. The playoff broadcast schedule for round one is set out below. Of course, the playoff games will also be available on the internet, and streaming video will also be available on a pay-per-view basis through the B2 Networks. Also, for home playoff games, the Deibler Dental In-Arena broadcast (99.3 fm inside the Sovereign Center) will also be available.

The Royals finish the regular season on Friday night (7:05 pm) when the Cincinnati Cyclones visit the Sovereign Center and the team hosts Fan Appreciation Night. A number of prizes will be given out on Friday, including a family vacation to Orlando, Florida, courtesy of Boscov's Travel. The first 2500 fans on Friday night will receive a "Mini-Matt" Herneisen bobblehead courtesy of Comcast. Friday's broadcast will be on the internet only (and can be accessed at www.royalshockey.com). Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
