(Rochester, NY)... The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled defenseman Chad Ruhwedel from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team also announced it has assigned defenseman Mark Pysyk to Rochester.

Ruhwedel (5/7/90, 5'11", 181 lbs.) leads all Americans defensemen with four goals and 17 points in 34 AHL games this season.
