Yancho Joins Front Office Staff

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday announced the hiring of Joseph Yancho as a group sales account executive.
A native of Swartz Creek, Mich., Yancho joined the Griffins' staff after working as an inside sales representative with the Detroit Red Wings, where his duties included selling group outings and season ticket plans. Before working with the Red Wings, he served as a ticket sales and operations intern with the Frontier League's Traverse City Beach Bums baseball team and assisted in the management of the 2013 Michigan Special Olympics Summer Games in Mount Pleasant.
Graduating in May 2013, Yancho obtained a bachelor's degree in sports management from Central Michigan University.
