Ryan Howard Garden Gnome Named Best Promotion by ESPN

"Gnome Sweet Gnome." Those are the three words that appear on ESPN.com, as the R-Phils' Ryan Howard Garden Gnome, presented by FirstEnergy, has been recognized as the best promotion in Minor League Baseball by ESPN. This one-of-a-kind collectible will be given away to the first 2,500 adults who enter FirstEnergy Stadium on Tuesday, August 3.
The Ryan Howard Garden Gnome, presented by FirstEnergy, depicts a kneeling Howard in his R-Phils uniform, sporting a Gnome Beard and Gnome hat. Howard, who has compiled at least 45 home runs and 136 RBIs in each of the last four seasons, launched an impressive 37 home runs for the R-Phils in 2004, en-route to Eastern League MVP and Rookie of the Year honors. The former R-Phillies first basemen, who was named to the R-Phils All-Decade Team earlier this year, recently signed a five-year contract extension with the 2009 National League Champion Philadelphia Phillies.
