Tonight's Game... The Sens and Bowie Baysox continue their four game series tonight at Metro Bank Park. Bowie has taken the first two games of the Series. LH Aaron Thompson goes against RH Steve Johnson for Bowie.

Harrisburg... The Sens have dropped a season high five straight games, all at Metro Bank Park. This current losing streak comes on the heels of a five game winning streak, all on the road.

Bowie... The Baysox have the Sens number thus far this season having won the first five games played between the two teams. Bowie entered this season with an eight game

Last time out... The Bowie Baysox scored seven runs in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to break the game wide open, and eventually defeated the Harrisburg Senators 9 0 in game two of the teams' four game series at Metro Bank Park. Zach Britton (2 2) threw five shutout innings, and the Baysox (14 12) piled on runs late to preserve his victory. Jeff Mandel (0 4) took the loss for the Senators (10 15), after allowing eleven hits and five runs in five and a third innings. The Senators managed just three hits in the game, off the bats of Danny Espinosa, Michael Daniel, and Pedro Lopez. Only one runner reached second base or beyond, when Lopez advanced to second on a wild pitch in the third inning. Bowie collected sixteen hits in all, getting four from Joel Guzman, and three apiece from Matt Tucker and Phillip Britton. Pedro Florimon and Tyler Henson each drove in two runs for the Baysox. The Baysox have now won the first two games of the series, and the Senators have dropped five straight.

Pitching Continues to Dominate... The Sens pitching staff has dominated this season. They are second in the league in pitching with a 3.12 ERA. They are second in strikeouts (189) to Akron (196). They have allowed the fewest HRs (7), and fewest walks (69).

Tracking the Attendance... The Senators are fifth in the league in attendance and have drawn 55,631 fans for an average of 4,636 per game. The Sens have had 12 home games and have drawn 5,000+ six times.

Staying in PA... The Sens are in game nine of playing 40 of 46 games in the state of Pennsylvania (through June 13th. They play 27 of those 46 at Metro Bank Park.

Familiar Faces... Of the 24 players on the Sens active roster, 14 have appeared in a Senators uniform. The Nationals have worked hard at upgrading their farm system over the past several years and it shows in that 17 of the 24 players have spent their entire career with the Nationals. The Sens have 19 players on their roster that played in the Nationals organization last season. Sens players have an average of 4.7 years of prior experience playing professionally and average just a touch over 25 years of age.

Top Prospects... Harrisburg has six of the Nats top 27 prospects according to Baseball America. The group is led by #1 prospect RH Stephen Strasburg. First time Senator SS Danny Espinosa is the Nats #5 prospect. Espinosa spent all of last season with Potomac in the Carolina League. 1B Chris Marrero, the #6 prospect, returns to the Sens after finishing the 2009 campaign in Harrisburg. LHP Aaron Thompson is the #12 prospect, joining the Nats organization in a deal last season involving 1B Nick Johnson. RHP Hassan Pena is 26th and RHP Jeff Mandel is 27th.
