Ryan Craig Recalled by Columbus, Tim Erixon Loaned to Springfield

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Friday that captain Ryan Craig was recalled by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team's NHL affiliate. Craig spent the majority of training camp and the preseason with the Blue Jackets before being loaned to Springfield September 28.

In conjunction with the transaction, defenseman Tim Erixon has been loaned to the Falcons by Columbus. The Port Chester, New York native played 40 games for the Falcons in 2012-13, posting 29 points (five goals, 24 assists) and a +9 rating. Erixon made the Blue Jackets' opening night roster but has not played in any of the team's three regular-season games so far.

The Falcons are set to host the Worcester Sharks Saturday, October 12 at the MassaMutual Center. The puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m.

Fans are invited to the MassMutual Center in 2013-14 to watch the reigning Northeast Division-champion Falcons compete in their 20th anniversary season.
