Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
HAMILTON, ONTARIO - The Hamilton Bulldogs and Global Spectrum are proud to announce a major partnership with FirstOntario Credit Union, one of Ontario's leading financial services providers.
The most significant elements to the agreement are that FirstOntario becomes the exclusive banking partner of Copps Coliseum and Hamilton Place, and FirstOntario has acquired the naming rights to the Copps Coliseum Box Office, now known as the FirstOntario Box Office. Under this new partnership, FirstOntario will also be the presenting partner of the Annual Bulldogs Foundation Walk-A-Thon, a presenting sponsor of Hamilton Bulldogs power plays during all radio broadcasts, as well as many various signage and activation rights.
"We're excited to be working with FirstOntario for the next three years and activating the FirstOntario brand in our buildings," said Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz. "As exemplified by the new design in the Copps Coliseum Box Office, FirstOntario will have a highly-visible presence within the arena and we're pleased to have them on board as such a significant partner."
"We are thrilled to take our partnership with FirstOntario Credit Union to the next level. FirstOntario doesn't have customers, they have members," said Global Spectrum's Scott Warren, General Manager of Copps Coliseum, Hamilton Place and Molson Canadian Studio. "We welcome FirstOntario as a member of our family as we dedicate ourselves to the communities we serve and the guests that enjoy our incredible venues."
"FirstOntario Credit Union has been a business partner with the Hamilton Bulldogs and the City of Hamilton for a number of years now and we are extremely pleased to extend that relationship," said Dave Schurman, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, FirstOntario Credit Union. "We believe in supporting our communities and the social and economic impact of nearly a million people attending events at Copps Coliseum and Hamilton Place is vital to the City of Hamilton. FirstOntario is proud to now be the exclusive banking partner."
