
Rush Host Fan Appreciation Weekend

(Rapid City, SD)- The Rapid City Rush will host its last set of regular season weekend games against the Southern Conference's number two team the Allen Americans Friday and Saturday at 7:05 pm in the Civic Center Ice Arena. The Rush organization will present this last home set of regular season weekend games as "Fan Appreciation Weekend.-Â In a demonstration to show their appreciation to Rush fans and the Black Hills community, the Rush organization has several exciting giveaways, guests, and entertainment on tap.
Friday's game will feature a special giveaway to the first 2500 fans of custom Rush Playing Cards courtesy of your local GEICO office. A special pyrotechnic show will get things started along with a specialty appearance puck drop by Krisitin Steede of NBC's Biggest Loser Couples.
Rapid City Rush will be cheered along not only by the 'Best Fans in the CHL' but also Super Fan Cameron Hughes.
Saturday, Rapid City Rush welcome back Cameron Hughes for a second night of Super Fan antics. Plus, the first 4000 Rush fans will receive a free team poster sponsored by Take a Hike with a team autograph signing following the game. The first intermission will include a center ice performance by your Rapid City Rushettes and the Junior Rushettes.

The Rush will conclude its second season with two home games against the Texas Brahmas on Tuesday, March 16th and Wednesday, March 17th. Our Family "Two-For Tuesday"Â tickets can be redeemed by bringing a can of non-perishable Our Family brand food to the Civic Center box office. The Grades for Blades promotion will apply for students attending the Wednesday night game and in addition, students grades kindergarten through college are eligible for a $4 discount.
