Bucks Teach Ladies Hockey 101

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League held their first annual ladies hockey 101 Monday night at the Laredo Entertainment Center.

Terry Ruskowski and several Bucks players taught around 40 ladies the basic skills of the game in a two-hour session. The night started off with a buffet-style dinner and wine in the club level where Ruskowski explained the basic rules of the game to the ladies in attendance and answered questions.

After dinner Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel demonstrated how to put on all of the hockey gear while Ruskowski explained what each piece of equipment was used for.

Next, Ruskowski and the players took the ladies on a tour of the locker room before heading out onto the ice for demonstrations about the basic rules of the game.

The night ended with photos of the players and a raffle with several prizes given away including necklaces, bracelets, and roses.

Everyone that attended received a gift bag filled with ladies night memorabelia.

The Bucks would like to thank Tab'ooh, Gram Jewlers, Mary Kay and Floral Art for sponsoring the event.

Dieude-Fauvel, Adam Rivet, Darryl Smith, Igor Agarunov, Robin Richards, Kevin Desfosses, Curtis Billsten, Jarred Mohr and Justin Styffe attended the event and helped teach the ladies the game.
