PONIES GO BACK-TO-BACK TO CLAIM VICTORY: Down to their final out, Binghamton received consecutive blasts from Jeff McNeil and Peter Alonso to steal the middle game, 6-5, Tuesday night at NYSEG Stadium. The Rumble Ponies scored first and out-hit the SeaWolves, but trailed for most of the game. It's the third time this season Binghamton has won when trailing after eight innings and second time walking off.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Andrew Church tries to build off of his first Double-A win. The Las Vegas native pitched into the seventh inning without allowing a run on May 11 at Portland, striking out six with just one walk. Church makes his second start since a brief stint on the disabled list.

FIVE AND FIGHTING: Binghamton's dramatic win on Tuesday night stretches their winning streak to season-best five games.

BACK-TO-BACK JACKS: Jeff McNeil and Peter Alonso became the second Rumble Ponies duo to hit consecutive home runs this season. On April 23 against New Hampshire, Patrick Mazeika and Matt Oberste went back-to-back in an 8-5 win.

PONY 'PEN: The Rumble Ponies bullpen did not allow a run for the third straight game. Corey Taylor and Eric Hanhold limited the SeaWolves to two hits over the final 3.1 innings. The Binghamton relievers have tossed their last 10.2 frames scoreless.

ALONSO GOES GONZO: Peter Alonso's two home-run night keeps him in a first-place tie with New Hampshire's Cavan Biggio for the most home runs in the Eastern League (11). Alonso is the second Rumble Pony to launch two longballs in a game this season - Jeff McNeil did it to the Fisher Cats on April 17.

KEVIN STILL COOKING: Kevin Taylor finished 1-for-4 on Tuesday, extending his hitting streak to a season-best 10 games.

POWER SURGE: Binghamton has homered in four straight games and is now tied with Reading for the most in the Eastern League (38). The Rumble Ponies have hit 8 HR during the four-game stretch.

HUMP DAY HICCUPS: The Rumble Ponies are 1-4 on Wednesday's, their worst record of any of the seven days.

CARDIAC PONIES: The Rumble Ponies are 7-2 in one-run games this season, giving them the best winning percentage in the league in games decided by one tally. They're also the only team to win three games when trailing after the eighth inning.

UP NEXT: The Rumble Ponies hit the road for a five-game four-day series against the Fisher Cats on Thursday evening. Binghamton puts RHP Nabil Crismatt on the mound in the series-opener at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 PM.
