OMAHA, NE - Following a quick three-game tussle with the Iowa Cubs in Des Moines, the Omaha Royals are back in action at Rosenblatt Stadium next Monday, May 3rd, taking on the Oklahoma City RedHawks and the New Orleans Zephyrs in a pair of four-game series. A Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks show and the annual Bark in the Park game highlight the upcoming homestand. Exciting promotions include:
Monday, May 3, 6:35 p.m.: Rotella's Italian Bakery presents $1 hot dog night - Hebrew National hot dogs are just a buck! Plus, it's another Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" game. The night is also presented by 89.7 The River.
Tuesday, May 4, 6:35 p.m.: It's Valpak 2-Buck 2uesday. General Admission tickets are only 2 bucks! It's also another Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" game. And at Tuesday home games, just bring your KRAFT Singles wrapper to the Rosenblatt ticket office and buy-one-ticket-get-one-free from KRAFT singles! The night is also presented by CD 105.9, The CW and The Reader.
Wednesday, May 5, 11:05 a.m.: Play hooky from work and enjoy a day at historic Rosenblatt! The exciting Pacific Coast League action is presented by 1110 KFAB.
Thursday, May 6, 6:35 p.m.: Dance...Dance...Dance presents Dancin' at the ball game as youngsters from the group will perform prior to the Royals vs. RedHawks series finale. It's also Thirsty Thursday, with $1 beer and Cokes, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly!
Friday, May 7, 7:05 p.m.: The series opener vs. New Orleans is a Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks. Enjoy the best post-game fireworks show in the Midwest! It's also Law Enforcement Night; area law enforcement will have helicopters, boats and horses on display in front of Rosenblatt Stadium, showing fans how they keep our streets safe. The night is also presented by 99.9 KGOR, KETV and The City Weekly.
Saturday, May 8, 7:05 p.m.: It's Bark in the Park, presented by Dogtopia, where fans can enjoy the game with their dog in Doggyville. Tickets are $8 for humans and $1 for dogs, with all proceeds from dogs' tickets going to the Nebraska Humane Society. Fans who visit the Dogtopia booth with their dog will receive a free day pass to Dogtopia. The night is also presented by Q 98.5, WOWT and The Reader.
Sunday, May 9, 1:35 p.m.: It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art. Subway Kids Club members get in FREE and following the game all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey, presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Plus, it's a Nebraska College Savings Program "Hit the Books" day: kids who completed the Hit the Books reading program earned a ticket to the game. The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, Fox 42 and Family Spectrum Magazine.
Monday, May 10, 11:05 a.m.: Sleep in and have a late breakfast at the Royals game, presented by 1110 KFAB.
