Royals Gear Up Once Again For Fans' Choice Awards Banquet

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the Eighth Annual Fans' Choice Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, March 30, beginning at 6 pm at the Sovereign Performing Arts Center in Reading. The dinner is open to the public and costs $40 for non-season ticket holders, $35 for full season ticket holders and $25 for children under twelve. In addition to handing out the annual awards, the Royals' V&M Towing warm-up jerseys will be auctioned that night. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the Royals' office (610-898-7825). Space is limited, so it is recommended that reservations be made promptly.

The official ballot for the 2008-09 Fans' Choice Awards will be available in Thursday's Reading Eagle. Fans can also print their own ballots at https://www.royalshockey.com/promotions/2009FansChoiceAwards.asp. Fans can submit their ballots at the Weidenhammer Systems Fan Appreciation Booth in the Sovereign Center during the Royals' home games on March 11, 14 and 20. (Ballots will be available on those game nights, as well.) Fans can also submit their ballots by mailing them care of the "Reading Royals' Awards Banquet", P.O. Box 1216, Reading, PA 19603.

The Royals return to action on Wednesday (March 11 @ 7:05 pm) when the Wheeling Nailers visit the Sovereign Center. Wednesday's game will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet via webcast hosted by Sportsjuice.com, which can be accessed through the Royals website.
