Sher-Wood Player of the Week Nomination: Travis Scott

Goaltender Travis Scott has made eight straight appearances for the Monarchs since returning from a call-up with the Los Angeles Kings on February 18. Although the Monarchs are winless in their last eight games, Scott's numbers have remained consistent. The veteran netminder, who passed 10,000 minutes played in the AHL on Wednesday in a 3-3 tie at Norfolk, has a 2.87 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage over his last eight contests. Scott pieced together a record of 0-2-1 with a 3.44 goals-against-average and a .898 save percentage last week.
