Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? - "SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!" Television's most popular animated star SpongeBob SquarePants leaves the water and makes a rare appearance on the concourse of the First Union Spectrum on Friday, March 21, when the Philadelphia Phantoms host the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks at 7:05 p.m.
The huggable, lovable star will sign autographs, meet his friends and take pictures with all who bring cameras to the game. SpongeBob SquarePants hails from deep down in the Pacific Ocean in the city of Bikini Bottom. The program airs on Nickelodeon Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 and 9:30 a.m.
"We continue to work with some incredible promotional partners like Nickelodeon and our parent company Comcast to help bring terrific celebrity appearances at our games," said Phantoms Vice President Jim Garino. "SpongeBob SquarePants is without a doubt one of the most popular stars on TV right now. We're excited to have him at the Phantoms game on March 21."
