
Bulldogs Hit Century Mark

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs became the first team this season in the AHL to reach 100 points when they defeated the Manitoba Moose 1-0 in front of 7,025 fans at Copps Coliseum on Sunday. It also marked the first time in franchise history that the Bulldogs had reached the 100 point mark. The Bulldogs also captured the Sam Pollock trophy on Friday, as they clinched their first Canadian Division title, when they defeated the Philadelphia Phantoms 4-2 in Hamilton.
This week the Bulldogs will travel to Saint John, New Brunswick to face the Flames in a pair of games. Hamilton will take on their Canadian Division rivals from Saint John on Wednesday, March 5th and Friday, March 7th. Each game in Saint John begins at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs will return home on Saturday, March 8th at 7:00 p.m. to host the Rochester Americans at Copps Coliseum

FICHAUD BACKSTOPPING BULLDOGS TO WINS:
Bulldogs goaltender Eric Fichaud has been a solid performer for the Bulldogs, despite playing in just six games this season prior to January. In 21 appearances Fichaud has put together a record of (13-2-3), a goals against average of 2.06, a save percentage of 0.928 and three shutouts.
BERGERON AMONG AHL'S BEST DEFENCEMEN:
Marc-Andre Bergeron is enjoying a great sophomore season in Hamilton. Bergeron leads the AHL in the plus/minus catergory with a +34 rating and he is tied for eighth in scoring among defencemen with 37 points (7-30-37)
WARD CONTINUES TO LEAD AHL SCORING RACE:
Bulldogs' forward Jason Ward is the AHL's leading scorer with 71 points (31g-40a-71pts). Teammate Michael Ryder tenth in AHL scoring as he has posted 59 points (29-30-59)
