Roos Traded to Reading

Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Cyclones proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Buffalo Sabres and the American Hockey League's (AHL) Rochester Americans, have traded forward Alex Roos to the Reading Royals, in exchange for cash considerations.

A native or Prairie Grove, IL, Roos was signed by Cincinnati in the offseason and appeared in both preseason games for the Cyclones, recording a goal on eight shots. Roos is coming off of a successful four-year collegiate career, splitting his time between the University of Michigan and Colorado College. In 118 collegiate games between the Wolverines and Tigers, Roos accounted for 18 goals and 16 assists. He suited up for the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (USHL) from 2011-13, amassing 69 points (34g, 35a) in 89 career games.
