Royals Trade for F Alex Roos

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced Monday the team has picked up forward Alex Roos for future considerations. The 23-year-old spent his graduate transfer season at the University of Michigan in 2017-18, scoring three goals and six points in 13 games. Michigan qualified for the 2018 Frozen Four.

Roos signed a contract with the Cyclones in September.

Prior to his final season on campus, Roos skated for Colorado College from 2013-16 (three seasons). He did not appear in any games for the Tigers in 2016-17. Over three seasons at Colorado College, Roos scored 15 goals and 28 points in 105 contests.
