
Rome Braves Send Three All Star Game Representatives

Rome, GA - The 2010 South Atlantic League All-Star teams have been announced and the Rome Braves will be sending three representatives to this year's game in Greenville, South Carolina.
Pitchers Chris Masters and Arodys Vizcaino along with pitching Coach Jim Czajkowski will join the Southern Division All-Star team for the 51st annual event. Despite a 1-3 record, Masters has been brilliant this season and is among the league leaders with a 1.88 ERA in 11 starts. Vizcaino has been a solid starter for the Rome as well with an 8-3 record and a 2.52 ERA. He is tied for the league lead in wins and will start the game for the Southern squad. The Rome pitching staff led by Coach Jim Czajkowski is second in the South Atlantic League with a 3.05 ERA.
The South Atlantic League All-Star game will be played on June 22nd at Flour Field at the West End in Greenville with the Greenville Drive serving as the host club. The Northern and Southern Division squads are comprised of 25 players with representatives from each team in the league.
The Braves continue their road trip tonight in Charleston. The team returns home on Thursday June 10th to begin a three game home stand. For ticket information call the Rome Braves ticket office at 706-378-5144 or purchase tickets online at wwww.romebraves.com.
