Rockets trade Cole Carrier to Pats for a pair of picks

The Kelowna Rockets announced today that they have traded prospect Cole Carrier to the Regina Pats in exchange for the Pats sixth-round in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft and a conditional eighth-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.

Carrier was selected by the Rockets during the fourth round (No. 71) of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft. He is currently playing with the Whitecourt Wolverines of the AJHL, posting 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 30 games.

The 17-year-old forward played in eight games with the Rockets last season, collecting an assist.
