Seattle Thunderbirds News Release

KENT - Seattle Thunderbirds general manager Bil La Forge announced today the team has traded left wing Tyler Carpendale to the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a conditional third round pick in the 2020 Bantam Draft.

"Tyler has been a good T-Bird in his time with the team," said La Forge. "We wish him the best in Kamloops."

In 81 games over three seasons with the T-Birds, Carpendale has nine goals and 18 assists for 27 points.

Carpendale has not played a game this season with the T-Birds due to an upper body injury. It is anticipated Carpendale will return to play this season.

Carpendale was originally selected by the T-Birds in the sixth round, 125th overall, in the 2015 Bantam Draft.

The T-Birds are in Kennewick tonight to play the Tri-City Americans at 7:05pm at the Toyota Center.

T-Birds next home game at accesso ShoWare Center is Saturday, January 11, against the Everett Silvertips at 6:05pm in our annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss presented by WARM 106.9 FM. Single game tickets are on sale online on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.

The T-Birds are now taking orders for Flex-24 Ticket packages. Fans that purchase the 24-Flex Ticket Package will be able to select any available premium seat for any game, in any ticket combination, during the 2019-20 season.
