
Rockets Earn the Split with 6-2 Win in PG

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Prince George Cougars 6-2 on Saturday night at the CN Centre in Prince George, splitting a weekend double-header with the Cougars.
Tyson Baillie and Dillon Dube led the Rockets offense, each scoring twice in the win. Baillie had his eighth and ninth goals of the season and added three assists while Dube now has six goals on the season and added two assists.
Michael Herringer made 35 stops in the Rockets net to earn the win as Kelowna improved to 7-4-0-0 on the season.
Cole Linaker and Lucas Johansen also scored for Kelowna while Nick Merkley had two assists.
The two teams will play their third straight game back in Kelowna this Friday as the Rockets return to Prospera Place for the first of four straight home games and host the Cougars Friday and Calgary on Saturday.
