Lowell defeated St. John's in their only meeting of the season by a score of 5-3 back on November 2nd... The Lock Monsters are ranked 14th in the AHL with the man advantage at a 15.8% success rate but are last overall when killing penalties at 76.7%... Newfoundland native Harold Druken was reclaimed on waivers from Toronto and will face the Baby Leafs this Sunday after playing five games with St. John's before Christmas.

Alexie Ponikarovsky: Since returning from Toronto on January 15th, Ponikarovsky is on a four-game points scoring streak (1-3=4). Ponikarovsky has 26 points (12G,14A) and is a plus nine (+9) in 39 games this season.

Brad Boyes: Boyes is currently on a three-game goal scoring streak. Boyes is ranked 4th amongst AHL rookies with 34 points (15G,19A) in 47 games.
