Flames Recall DuPont from Saint John

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames Vice-President & General Manager Craig Button announced today defenceman Micki DuPont has been recalled from the Saint John Flames of the American Hockey League.

DuPont played in nine games with Calgary earlier this season scoring his first NHL career goal in Vancouver on October 14th. In 33 games with Saint John the 5'10" 186 lbs. rearguard posted 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists) leading the team's defence in scoring. The Calgary, AB native scored the game-winner for the Canadian Team at the 2002 Deutschland Cup held in Hanover, Germany in November. The Flames drafted DuPont in the ninth round, 270th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft.
