January 22, 2003 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Hershey Bears News Release

The Bears battled back from three different one goal deficits to take a 4-3 lead, but Eric Meloche tied the game for the Penguins with 55 seconds left to leave the Bears and Pens fit to be tied. Marek Svatos was named the game's number one star for scoring two goals, and Phil Sauve earned the Bears a point on his bobblehead night at GIANT Center.

After the game, the Bears announced that Brian Willsie had been recalled by the Colorado Avalanche. Willsie is expected to be in attendance when the Avs play the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday at Pepsi Center in Denver. At the time of recall, Willsie leads the Bears in goals with 21.

The Bears return to action Friday night at Binghamton against the first place Senators. Face-off Friday night is at 7:05, with air time on BIG 92.7 FM at 6:45.
