SUNDAY FUNDAY: The Rochester Red Wings notched the win in their series finale in Syracuse Sunday afternoon, 9-1...the offense logged 15 hits in the contest, including four from 2B DARREN BAKER, three from 1B FRANKIE TOSTADO, and two each from 3B JETER DOWNS and SS JORDY BARLEY...LHP ALEMAO HERNANDEZ picked up his third consecutive win on the mound, tossing 6.0 innings on one earned for the Wings' 13th quality start of the season...Rochester returns home tonight for their final homestand of the season, a six-game set against Lehigh Valley...RHP CORY ABBOTT is slated to make the start on the mound against IronPigs RHP Tyler Phillips.

GONE STREAKIN': After scoring in the top of the second inning Sunday, Rochester has now scored a run in 127 straight games dating back to 4/8-G2 in Syracuse...this marks the longest streak in the International League this season, 60 games ahead of second place (MEM, 67)...no International League team has scored a run in 100-straight games since at least 2005, and no Rochester team has done so since at least 1997....

Rochester has been shut out just twice this season (4/4, 4/8-G2), which would be the fewest in a single season for a Red Wings team since at least 1985, with the next-closest being four in 1993.

KLEPTOMANIACS: The Wings stole four bases in the game on Sunday, including two from SS JORDY BARLEY, and one each from CF DEREK HILL and 2B DARREN BAKER...the Wings have now stolen a base in 11 straight games since 8/29, the longest streak by a Red Wings' team since at least 2005...

22 stolen bases since 8/29 is tied for most in the International League with Scranton/WB.

143 stolen bases this season trails their 2022 total by 10 (153), which is the second-most in Red Wings history behind the 1944 squad (180).

WELCOME TO THE BAKE SHOW: LF DARREN BAKER logged four hits for the second time in his professional career (4/13 vs. BUF), going 4-for-6 with a double and three RBI...he finishes the series with a multi-hit performance in all five games, going 13-for-24 (.542) with a double, six RBI and four stolen bases...

This is the first time in his professional career that he's produced five consecutive multi-hit games.

BRADY BUNCH: C BRADY LINDSLY logged a double, two RBI and a run scored in the contest Sunday, going 1-for-4...he has now logged multiple RBI in four consecutive games dating back to 9/3 against SWB, the first time a Red Wing has done so since Jeff Clement in 2013 (6/24-27)...

Lindsly is hitting .500 (7-for-14) with a homer, a double, and eight RBI through four games played in August.

NOTHING BUT QUALITY: LHP ALEMAO HERNANDEZ logged his third consecutive winning decision Sunday afternoon in what was the Wings' 13th quality start this season...the southpaw allowed one earned on one hit across 6.0 innings, tying a career-high with seven strikeouts for the second time in his last three starts...after allowing six earned across 3.0 innings pitched in his Triple-A debut, he has posted an ERA of 1.74 (4 ER/20.2 IP) across his last four starts...

Hernandez is the first Wings pitcher to log a quality start since Joan Adon on 7/21 against Durham.

BARLEY KNOW YA: SS JORDY BARLEY extended his hitting streak to four games in the win Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, and a pair of stolen bases...this marked his first multi-hit game in Triple-A, and the first at any level since 7/29 at Brooklyn, with High-A Wilmington...the righty is hitting .385 (5-for-13) through five games in August.
