Rivermen Get Voth Back from Worcester

On Wednesday the Peoria Rivermen's AHL affiliate Worcester IceCats announced that left wing Brad Voth has been sent down to Peoria.

The 6'5" forward appeared in four games with Worcester recording no points and 16 penalty minutes. The native of Calgary, Alberta has skated in 23 games for Peoria so far this season registering one goal, two assists and 139 penalty minutes.

The Rivermen take to the road this week for three games in three days. On Friday night, Peoria visits Lexington, KY for a rematch with the Men O' War whom they beat this past Sunday 4-1 at home. From there the Rivermen travel to Greensboro on Saturday and Wheeling, WV on Sunday.

Their next home game is set for January 17th when the Johnstown Chiefs come to town for a two game series. On Friday the 17th Spiderman will make an appearance during the hockey game and sign autographs. Saturday January 18th is Rivermen Checkbook Cover Night courtesy of the Central Illinois Chapter of Credit Unions. The first 2500 fans in the door get one! Don't miss out!
