Family Reunion: At least 10 players who wore Griffins uniforms last season are expected to return to Van Andel Arena as members of the Binghamton Senators.

Family Four Pack: The Family Four Pack Night offers fans four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks and two Griffins t-shirts for just $44.
Third Jerseys: The Griffins will wear their special red and white jerseys, modeled after those of the Detroit Red Wings. Mascot Mania!: Many mascots from area teams and businesses will share their zany antics and compete in an on-ice broomball game during the first intermission. Youth Hockey: The GRAHA Mechanical Finishing mite hockey team will skate during the second intermission.

Women in Sports: Fans can meet several local women who have made significant contributions to sports in this area. Tentatively scheduled to appear are: members of the Grand Rapids Chicks, Tonya Powell Tillman, Stacey Slobodnik, Connie Sweeris, Val Sterk and Kristin Koetsier. Tillman is a member of the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame and was an all-state basketball player at Ottawa Hills High School before becoming the University of Michigan's second all-time rebounder and a top-ten career scorer. Slobodnik was an All-American golfer at Michigan State University who currently coaches the Spartans women's golf team. Sweeris is also a member of the Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame as well as a member of the United States Table Tennis Hall of Fame. As a 23-year-old, she ranked number one in the United States in table tennis. Sterk was all-state in volleyball at South Christian High School before becoming a first team All-American at Michigan State. She played on the United States National Team from 1997-2001. Koetsier was an all-state basketball performer at Grandville en route to becoming the Miss Michigan basketball winner.
Women's Hockey: Two women's hockey games will take place before the Griffins game. The first game will be the Kentwood Kamakazi against the GRAHA Thunder at 2:00 p.m. The second will pit the Holland Storm against the West Michigan Blizzard at 4:00 p.m.
Trading Cards: The first 5,000 fans will receive four Griffins trading cards, in the second of four Shoe Carnival Trading Card Nights. The remaining two sets will be distributed on Feb. 21 and Mar. 23. To complete the full-team set, fans can purchase the remaining cards at The Zone, inside Van Andel Arena.
Youth Hockey: The GRAHA Grandville Ice Dawgs pee-wee hockey team will skate during the second intermission.
Throw for Dough: During the game, fans can purchase red balls for $1 and green balls for $3 apiece. At the conclusion of the game, a target will be placed at center ice. Fans can throw the balls at the target for a chance to win up to $5,000. Proceeds from the sale of the balls will go to GRAHA.
Post-Game Autographs: Six Griffins players will sign autographs in the stands for 15 minutes after the game.
Post-Game Skate: The sixth Stouffer's Post-Game Family Fun Skate will take place. Fans who bring their own skates can hit the ice at Van Andel Arena for 45 minutes after the game.
