Bulldogs Chasing History
Published on January 8, 2003 under American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs, top affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Edmonton Oilers, continue to chase American Hockey League history tonight when they visit the St. John's Maple Leafs at Mile One Stadium in St. John's, Nfld. (6:05 pm ET). Hamilton's current 12-game road winning streak is one shy of matching the AHL record of 13, set by the Albany River Rats in 1995-96. The Bulldogs also enter play tonight with a 16-game unbeaten streak overall (14-0-2-0) and a 21-game points streak (18-0-2-1), and their 30-6-3-2 record puts them on pace for the best regular season in the AHL's 67-year history.
