
Riverhounds FC Announce three players named to team of the week

Vidmar, Mehler and Bastidas Honored
Washington, PA - The Riverhounds FC's announced today that two of their players were named to the Week 16 USL Team of the Week. The Riverhounds play in the USL Second Division.
Defender Joe Vidmar was named to the team for his solid play in both the draw and the loss to Charlotte and Wilmington. The 6'0" 180 lbs. defender is new to the Riverhounds this season. He played collegiate soccer for Richmond.
Matt Mehler was recognized for his goal against Charlotte August 6th. The Riverhounds dropped that match 2-1. Mehler, too, is new to the Riverhounds this season. He was considered an anchor for the Dukes' defense at Duquesne University who won the 2004 Atlantic 10 regular season title.
Vincente Bastidas was also recognized for his goal in the Riverhounds' match versus Wilmington on August 5. Bastidas has been with the Riverhounds for two seasons.
The Riverhounds complete their home matches Wednesday night when they host the Columbus Crew of the MLS for an exhibition match. The Hounds complete their season in Harrisburg Saturday when they travel to Harrisburg.
