
Top Two Teams in West Square Off in Rockford

ROCKFORD, Ill. - First place in the West division will be on the line when the Rockford Riverhawks begin a three-game homestand against the Kalamazoo Kings at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Rockford enters the series in second place, one game behind Kalamazoo.
The series opener is a Dr. Pepper/7UP "Two for Tuesday," when fans can buy two hot dogs for $2 or two soft drinks for $2. It will also be Oldie's Night at Marinelli Field and all fans who show up in oldie's attire will receive $2 off their General Admission tickets.
At 5:05 p.m. before Wednesday's game, Saturn of Rockford sponsors a Youth Clinic. That night is also a Hooter's Hot Wing Wednesday, which means the Hooter's girls will be serving free wings at 6:05 p.m. in the Miller Lite Beer Oasis in right field.
In addition, game two of the series is a Sherwin Williams "Sure Win" Wednesday. If the âHawks lose, all fans in attendance will receive free tickets to an upcoming home game courtesy of Sherwin Williams.
The series wraps up with a Miller "Thirsty Thursday," when beer is just $1. Also, the first 1,000 fans through the gate on Thursday will receive RiverHawks baseball caps, thanks to Money Mailer and WRHL.
All three games begin at 7:05 p.m. and the gate opens each night at 6:05 p.m.
The RiverHawks are the defending champions of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 13th season. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 964-BALL. All games are broadcasted live on WRHL-FM, 102.3 - the Hub.
