Milwaukee, WI-The American Hockey League announced today that Milwaukee Admirals goaltender Pekka Rinne has been selected to the PlanetUSA team in the 2008 AHL All Star Classic presented by Reebok at the Broome County Veteran's Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY on January 27th and 28th.
Rinne has started an impressive 31 of the Admirals 36 games this season and has amassed a 16-14-1 record, a 2.62 goals against average and a .906 save percentage to go along with one shutout. The Kempele, Finland native leads AHL goalies in minutes played (1900), games played (32), and is tied for the top spot in wins.
