
Brouwer Returned To Rockford

Chicago, Ill.-General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Chicago Blackhawks have assigned right wing Troy Brouwer to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.
Brouwer, 22, appeared in one game for the Blackhawks against Detroit on January 6 and recorded 12:46 in ice time. Brouwer returns to Rockford as the IceHogs second leading scorer. In 38 games this season, he has 17 goals and 12 assists for 29 points with 67 penalty minutes. Of the 17 goals Brouwer has scored this season for Rockford, 13 have come on the power play, which leads the AHL.
Brouwer is expected to be back in Rockford's line-up on Friday night when the Hogs face-off against the Toronto Marlies at the Rockford MetroCentre at 7:30 p.m.
Next Home Game: Friday, Jan. 11 vs. Toronto Marlies at 7:30 p.m. The Hogs and Marlies clash at the MetroCentre in a battle of two of the top teams in the AHL. The game is the second and final on the regular season between the two clubs. The first 1,000 fans to the game 21 and older will receive a Bud Light Jersey Koozie.
