RHP Ruben Mejia Heads to DL

The Fort Wayne TinCaps, in conjunction with the San Diego Padres, announced the following roster move:
RHP Ruben Mejia placed on the disabled list, retroactive to July 10. Mejia, 20, has a 1-4 record with a 4.95 ERA in 14 appearances with Fort Wayne this year. Since joining the starting rotation on May 28, Mejia has worked to an 0-3 record with a 5.06 ERA in 7 starts.
The TinCaps roster currently stands at 24 players, one below the Midwest League limit.
