
RHP Casey Shane Promoted to Lake County

Niles, Ohio - RHP Casey Shane has been promoted to the Lake County Captains.
The 20-year-old right hander from Burleson, Texas went 2-4 with a 3.45 ERA in 12 starts this season for Mahoning Valley. Shane was a sixth round draft pick by the Cleveland Indians in 2013 out of Centennial High School in Burleson.
Shane holds a MiLB career 3.63 ERA in 35 games. He went 1-0 with a 0.82 ERA in two starts for Mahoning Valley in 2014. He was the opening day starter for the Scrappers on June 19 against West Virginia. This is Shane's first stint with Lake County.
Shane was scheduled to start on Saturday against West Virginia at Monongalia County Ballpark. LHP Sam Hentges has been called up to Mahoning Valley from the Arizona League, and is scheduled to make the start on Saturday.
