HAGERSTOWN M.D. - The South Atlantic League (SAL) announced its 2013 Annual All-Star Team this morning, and two Suns made the team. Second baseman Tony Renda and Manager Tripp Keister were named to the squad, representing the team with the second best record this season.

Both Renda and Keister were named to the North Division Mid-Season All-Star team as well. Renda is hitting .295 this season (seventh best in the SAL) and leads the league in games played (130), at-bats (502), doubles (42), runs scored (96), and is fourth in walks (65). Renda was drafted by the Nationals in the second of the June 2012 draft out of the University of California at Berkeley. He spent last summer playing for the Auburn Doubledays, and has been with the Suns since opening day this year.

Keister is in his first season managing the Suns. He spent last year as the manager of the Nationals rookie-level Gulf Coast League affiliate, the GCL Nationals. Under Keister this season the Suns lead the league in runs scored (663), and RBI (585), and are third in the league in team batting average (.258).
