ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign (11-9-1-1), proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, handed the Las Vegas Wranglers (14-7-1-3) a 5-2 defeat before 7,915 at Citizens Business Bank Arena on Saturday. It was a night of milestones for Ontario, as Dustin Carlson earned his first professional win, Chris Huxley scored his first professional goal, and coach Jason Christie took exclusive possession of 5th place in ECHL coaching victories with 318.

C.J. Stretch got Ontario on the board first with a power play goal 9:00 into the game unleashing a hail of teddy bears in the Reign's Annual Teddy Bear Toss. See video of Teddy Bear Toss by clicking here. Bill Bagron feathered a pass to Stretch in the high slot and the centerman wristed the puck into the net for his tenth marker of the season. Vincent LoVerde also had an assist. The Wranglers tied it 42 seconds later. Carlson got a piece of Ash Goldie's shot with his glove, but the puck arced over his shoulder and into the goal. Las Vegas took its first lead of the game at 15:01 on a goal by Peter MacArthur.

Chris Cloud tied the game, 2-2, at 5:48 of the second period and Kyle Kraemer reclaimed the lead for the Reign at 18:49. Cloud was left unattended in the slot and whipped a pass from J.D. Watt past Las Vegas goalie, David Brown. Kraemer's goal came as he chipped a puck past Wranglers defender Channing Boe at the Reign blue line, rushed down the right side and went top shelf on Brown to give Ontario a 3-2 lead.

The Reign kept up the pressure in the third period as they outshot the Wranglers 16-5. Kraemer tallied his second goal at 7:41 to boost Ontario's lead to 4-2 and Huxley capped off the scoring with an empty-netter at 19:03, as the Reign defeated the Wranglers 5-2.

Carlson (1-1-0) got the win with 27 saves on 29 shots. Brown (2-2-0) got the loss with 11 saves on 14 shots and his third-period replacement, Mitch O'Keefe stopped 14 of 15.
