Jackals Announce Gameday Transactions

The Elmira Jackals announced on Saturday that forward Jack Downing has been recalled by their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators and that defenseman Mike Ratchuk has signed a PTO with the B-Sens. Additionally, forward Kevin King has been recalled by Elmira's AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.Elmira Jackals Logo

Downing, a rookie from New Canaan, Conn. has eight points (4g-4a) in 11 games with Elmira this season. He has one assist in 12 games with the B-Sens.

Ratchuk, a fourth-year pro from South Buffalo, N.Y., has 11 (3g-8a) points in 20 games with the Jackals in 2011-2012 and played in two games with the Crunch in November.

King, a rookie from Calgary, Alberta, has a goal and four assists for five points with Elmira in eight games this season and is scoreless in five games with Syracuse.
