RedHawks Rally for Fourth Straight Win, 7-5

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Robinson Cancel hit a three-run home run in the eighth inning and sent the Oklahoma City RedHawks (38-50) to a 7-5 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers (48-40) before 4,205 Friday night at RedHawks Field at Bricktown.

RedHawks reliever Douglas Arguello (3-5) allowed one hit over two and one-thirds innings for the winning decision. Brandon Sisk (2-1) was charged with the losing decision in relief for Omaha. Mickey Storey (1) saved the game with a scoreless ninth inning.

Oklahoma City starter Brad Hennessey was perfect through four innings, and allowed a fifth inning run on a double play ball in a five inning start, but did not factor in the decision.

The RedHawks took the lead with a three-run fourth inning. J.B. Shuck doubled home Luis Durango for a 1-0 score. Drew Locke later hit a sacrifice fly to score Shuck for a 2-0 game. Koby Clemens next belted a home run off the left field pole for a 3-0 score.

Omaha scored in the fifth inning, as Clint Robinson came in on a double play ground ball from Kila Ka'aihue for a 3-1 score. The RedHawks countered in the bottom of the fifth inning when Brian Esposito doubled and scored on a Tommy Manzella double for a 4-1 score.

The Storm Chasers scored four runs against RedHawks reliever Danny Meszaros in the sixth inning. Manny Pina led off with a home run for a 4-2 score. David Lough and Clint Robinson later contributed RBI doubles for a 4-4 game before a Mike Aviles triple scored Robinson for a 5-4 Omaha lead.

The RedHawks trailed until the eighth inning. Brandon Barnes walked against reliever Mario Santiago, Shuck walked against Sisk and Cancel blasted a three-run home run over the left field bleachers for a 7-5 score.
