Tonight's Game-- Fresh off an impressive sweep in Omaha, the RedHawks continue their road trip in Memphis as they face the Redbirds at 7:05 p.m.

Last Night-- The RedHawks mashed three more home runs and staved off a late rally by Omaha to win 9-8 and complete a four-game sweep at Werner Park. The RedHawks got started right away with two runs in the first. In the bottom of the inning, Tony Abreu knocked an RBI double, and Clint Robinson followed with a two-run homer to make it 3-2. Brad Snyder and Jimmy Paredes answered with homers in the second RedHawks in front at 5-3. Travis Buck drove in runs in the third and fifth to extend the lead to four. Landon Powell homered to start the sixth, and Matt Dominguez added an RBI single in the seventh to make it a 9-3 game. Trailing 9-6 with two outs in the ninth, Johnny Giavotella launched a two-run homer to make it a one-run game. After Juan Abreu walked the tying run on base, he got Robinson to pop out to end the game. Armando Galarraga (2-2) earned the win.

Today's Probable Pitchers-- Brett Oberholtzer looks to build off his best start with the RedHawks...On Sunday against New Orleans, Oberholtzer allowed two runs--one earned--and two hits over six innings...After allowing a two-run homer three batters into the game, Oberholtzer allowed one hit the rest of the way and retired 17 of the last 20 hitters he faced, including the last seven straight...The lefty looks to turn things around on the road...In four starts away from OKC, Oberholtzer has posted an ERA of 10.00, allowing 21 runs over 18 IP...Opponents are hitting .414 and he's allowed seven homers...His previous start against Memphis was a strong one on July 2, allowing two runs and six hits over 6.1 innings to earn the win...Memphis lefty Nick Additon makes his first start after missing over a month on the DL...Prior to his injury, Additon had been pitching well, registering a 2.92 ERA over four starts in June...On June 12 in Nashville he hurled seven scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts...Additon has not faced the RedHawks since April 14...He allowed one run and five hits over five innings.

New Heights-- With yesterday's win, the RedHawks are a season-best 18 games over .500. It's the most they've been above .500 since the final day of the 2004 regular season (81-63).

Road Warriors-- With last night's win, the RedHawks are 27-24 away from OKC and are three games over .500 on the road for the first time since they were 7-4 on May 3. They have won a season-best five straight on the road and have won 10 their last 13 road games.

Sweeping Them Away-- Yesterday the RedHawks became just the second team to sweep the Storm Chasers since Werner Park opened in 2011. The RedHawks have two road sweeps this season (April 17-20 in Nashville), but they had not previously swept a road series since July 20-23, 2009 in New Orleans.

Five Alive-- The RedHawks are on their fourth winning streak this season of at least five games. They had three such streaks in 2011.

Close Calls-- Yesterday the RedHawks won by just a single run for the seventh time in their last 10 victories. Their 32 one-run games are the second-most in the PCL (Iowa-43) and their 20 wins are the third-most (Iowa & Nashville-21). They have won each of their last eight one-run games.

Offensive Onslaught-- After getting shutout Saturday night, the RedHawks have combined for 54 runs and 78 hits the last five games. As a team they are hitting .386.

Homer Happy-- After being held to just one homer in their first series after the break, the RedHawks left the yard 11 times at Werner Park. They rank second in the PCL with 115 dingers.

The Barnyard-- Brandon Barnes had a monster series in Omaha, going 11-for-19 with five extra-base hits, including two homers, and seven RBIs. He was 11-for-13 when putting the ball in play. During his current seven-game hitting streak, Barnes is hitting .531 (17-for-32) with six multi-hit games.

Shuck-tacular-- J.B. Shuck is on a season-best nine-game hitting streak, going 13-for-28 (.464). What makes it more impressive is that he's only started five times during the streak and has had two or less at-bats four times.

Who's Your Daddy?-- In the five games since Jimmy Paredes returned from paternity leave, he has gone 12-for-23 (.522) with two homers and eight RBIs.

Wally's World-- During his current five-game hitting streak, Brett Wallace is hitting .600 (12-for-20).

Against the Redbirds-- This is the final series in 2012 between these two teams, and so far the RedHawks have won eight of 12 meetings, including a split at AutoZone Park back in April...Their last meeting featured a memorable walk-off home run by Fernando Martinez in the 10th on July 3 to give the RedHawks an 11-10 win...Martinez has bashed four homers and collected 15 RBIs while slugging .638...Former Redbird Brett Wallace is hitting .441 over 10 games against Memphis...Mark Hamilton had big series earlier this month in OKC this series, going 7-for-14 with two homers and seven RBIs.
