Zephyrs-Sounds Postponed

New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
Torrential downpours throughout the day on Friday led to the postponement of the series and homestand opener between the Nashville Sounds and New Orleans Zephyrs.
The Sounds and Zephyrs will play a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The first 1,000 adults in attendance when the gates open at 4:00 will receive a bobblehead of LSU head coach Paul Mainieri, who will be on hand to throw out the first pitch and sign autographs. Dora The Explorer will also be on hand to take pictures, and following the second game, The Lewinskys will take the Zatarains Stage for a concert.
Fans holding tickets to Friday's game can be redeem them for a ticket to any Zephyrs game the remainder of the 2012 season. The fireworks scheduled for Friday night have been rescheduled for the Saturday, July 28th game against the Iowa Cubs.
The Zephyrs' longest homestand of the season runs through Tuesday, July 31st.
