MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis garnered their fourth shutout of the year with a 3-0 win over Las Vegas at AutoZone Park Thursday night.
Tyler Greene put the 'Birds on the board with a single in the second inning, sending Bryan Anderson home. Nick Stavinoha's base hit to left field in the fourth extended the lead and Anderson's home run in the sixth capped the Redbirds scoring on the night.
Memphis starter Brandon Dickson earned his seventh win of the year with seven scoreless innings. The right-hander fanned seven and scattered four hits before two Redbirds relievers finished off the shutout. Las Vegas starter and former Redbird P.J. Walters took the loss giving up two runs on seven hits over four innings.
