
Redbirds' Fans to Help Out Hurricane Victims

Memphis, Tenn. - The Memphis Redbirds and Greater Mid-South Jaycees are teaming up to aide in the relief effort for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The Jaycees will be at AutoZone Park Wednesday, August 31, and Thursday, September 1, to collect goods for the victims of the hurricane. Bottles of water, cleaning supplies, canned food, socks and towels are just some of the items that will be collected.
The goods will be a part of the Jaycees effort, which has trailers at Wal-Mart in Germantown for supplies. The Jaycees will be at Wal-Mart from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Friday with the trailer scheduled to leave this weekend.
