
'Birds, Sounds game postponed

Memphis Redbirds News Release
Memphis, Tenn. - For the second straight night the effects of Hurricane Katrina postponed the game between Memphis and Nashville this time due to wet grounds.
Wednesday night's game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Thursday night. The first game will begin at 6:05 p.m. with the second game to follow. The âBirds and Sounds will now play four games in two days with a pair of doubleheaders scheduled for the next two days. Memphis will play eight games in six days to end the season.
Memphis and Nashville will play two tomorrow night with the first game beginning at 6:05 p.m.
